Shapes and dimensions

Laboratory workbenches can be made in numerous combinations of dimensions, shapes, equipment and purposes.

Depending on the place of installation, they can be wall work benches (with the back against the wall) or central work benches (in the middle of the room).

According to the purpose, they can be working, with a sink, anti-vibration, writing.

In terms of dimensions, the standard heights are 750mm, for sitting and 900 for standing work, depths of 600, 750 and 900mm, and lengths according to user needs.

Standard dimensions of supporting frames are 900, 1200, 1500 and 1800mm. Larger lengths are obtained by combining and adding.

Most of the work is mostly done on the central work benches, so they are the best equipped: the most common configuration is with a central double shelf for reagents, power connections and a front-mounted sink.
